On topic. Covid has had a big part in this Copper price action. But do you know that thanks to computers there is a 1 in 1 out way of controlling inventory, but i will get to that in a minute. Note that even shipping in an off of the shelf method of keeping reduction of backlog product from getting stacked up on the shelves. The recent SUEZ event magnifyes how easily the in and out inventory causes market interuprions. It is not that a panic needs to occur but rather that any person can tell when the toilet paper is going out the door too fast. The one in one out makes these events into crisis status with undercontrolled inventories. It remains that like in a good poker game that there are only a few cards left to draw and as a hold out you can know that you are either most likely a winner or a loser with your hand.////Present economics follow the inventory patterns created with computer ease.\\\\ Had the SUEZ CANAL not got unplugged for another 2 weeks we would have nearly gone into the GREAT DEPRESSION, as all inventories on the high Seas were shipped ahead of seasonal demands, really a mess. So if you were ordering freeze dried ice cream your shipment may have just arrived in time for December 2021 or you may never have even recieved your shippment even to this date. What has been discoverd is that real EYES are needed to watch inventory control at every level, Banking,Retail,Intel,Automobiles,Shipping, all retail on the shelf inventory and only with a good accounting of present inventory and reserve inventory be properly controlled proper oversite, a computer functions with no common sence as to this topic, yet is the yardstick of same. So YES the rage of printing the many TRILLION of USDollers will soon lead to the inflationarey season, and that is exactly what led to the HUGE runup of GOLD and SILVER in 1980s. Shortly after that REAGAN stepped in to the OVAL office and things went for the better.
