I'm afraid I have to agree with you about the R/S. I had my hopes that we would make it to several pennies- maybe even back to the semi-mythical 19 cents we were once at. With the many millions of shares many of us held- many would have done fairly nicely. And we had actually made it back to a penny- even without news- and so I think- with news- if it were ever to come- and by news I mean drilling at Hay Mountain- not this fake scattered gold misadventure-  we had a real chance.

But the R/S- which some of us strenuously argued against- blew all that. That and BG turning his back on JB's Hay Mountain targets.

I know we were lectured by the previously pompous but now very quiet NU about how it all equals out- fewer shares- but each worth more- so- value preserved. And a more attractive share structure for all those big investors we now see pouring in.

But the argument that it all equals out is bogus to the core. For example- if you look at many junior miners- let alone explorers- how many cost over $1 a share. Pretty much none. So while one could see someone paying 20 cents a share for LBSR- even with our ridiculous share structure- who would pay dollars- even now- after the R/S. It is $5 just to be back to the one penny pre-R/S- and 100 bucks to get to the equivalent of 20 cents pre R/S. How likely is that? Even major established mining companies don't often go for that much.

Now- with their newly self granted millions of shares- BG and PO should do just fine eeking up to 40-50-60 cents with really good news- if that ever comes. They would do well for themselves even at the 40 cents we are nearly at. But for most of the rest of us- who's millions of shares are now a few 10s of thousands- not so much. We're having enough trouble just staying in the thirties. Does anyone really think we're going to see dollars- let alone $100 again?

The only slimmest of hope for that would be to get back to what we were supposed to have been about in the first place- namely- drilling for copper at Hay Mountain. I assume the reason most of us who have hung on have done so- has been the belief that there really is billions of dollars in value at Hay Mountain. It is a shame, especially with the POC remaining relatively high and likely going higher- that this has not been realized. The trick now is to get Gross to forget about his RRC gold fantasy and get back to Hay Mountain. If we ever want to see dollars again- that's where we'll find them.
