Willy, it's for promotion.  There are two+ things to "wonder" about in that.  These are what form it will take and whether it will be effective.  If effective, will it last long enough to get past the next round of financing?

I'm afraid this will also mean many new aliases showing up on popular messages board to pump the stock - just another sign of a failing company.  I've seen it before. Check now at Yahoo!, Stock House, Silicon Investor, InvestorHub, etc., and watch for sudden changes in posting volumes, most being highly positive in favor of LBSR.  Watch for it.

The problem with this approach is that times have changed for mining stocks*.   Such an effort is more likely to be effective when participation volumes are moderate to high regularly, but these are not normal times.  This period is hosting the second worst, if not the worst, usage of mining investor message board ever, meaning money spent in this direction may well be wasted compared to earlier times.
