So my thought is that the stock price won't advance much more until news comes that the drilling machines have been moved into place.

You may very well be correct- we've seen blips (hopefully more than blip) before with some hint of good news- and then- with no follow on- as you say- without impetus- the PPS drifts back down. But the hope now is that there is seemingly a path forward. If so- then there should not only be anticipation of news to follow- but actual actions that will be then be reported- ie- drilling. One plus this time is PO's personal substantial investment and then hopefully his ability- based on past performance in other arenas- to execute such a plan. And one other thing. Again - with his track record of being a success in the music industry and then in the medical field- hopefully he will be able to communicate this to potential investors better than done previously and increase our visibility. And he may have well heeled connections to boot. So far- he seems to have the means to carry out this plan on his own. I just hope he has the good sense not to be led astray by some crackpot geologist wannabe who, through prior association with BG, may be contaminated and wedded to RRC.
