Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
I was watching this company from around the time of the staking of Big Chunk in AK. I got more seriously interested when the North Pipe project was announced. In doing my DD, I found that that area was under severe attacks by the anti-mining crowd who didn't want any new mining near the Grand Canyon. I wrote Tracy then asking what the plan was for dealing with that situation and had no reply then either. I would have saved myself a lot of grief by taking that as a clue not to buy LBSR. However, I did not believe the US government would side with the anti-mining crown. At the least, I thought some compromise could be achieved, so I bought the stock anyway (and added more up to the time drilling began at Big Chunk, holding 1-2 percent of the company in multiple accounts).
But we know how that turned out, so I will offer that a non-response from Tracy is meaningless other than suggesting she has no training or understanding of how to reply with a nonanswer when such is appropriate.
Eventually, I sold almost all of my stock before the RS because I grew to harbor bad feelings about BG, which is another story. As I mentioned earlier, I retained a small amount of shares, vowing to come back heavily with progress at Hay Mountain. I started doing so with news about pending drilling and will continue doing so as news warrants.
