Other board?  I can't remember the time frame, but I think many early posters here were induced to move to Agoracom from the Yahoo!  finance message board.

I can't recall the time frame, but I bought my first shares about 2008 on news of the North Pipes project for uranium.  I had missed the buying rush on the Big Chunk acquisition but didn't want to miss owning some for the North Pipes project.  Unfortunately, I discounted the threat from environmentalists who did not want to see new mining having any perception of being near the Grand Canyon.

Coincidentally, about that time in '08, I was in the state geologist's office (then in Phoenix) doing some research for a local non-profit on the mining history of a mountain range near my home.  To my surprise, the outer office there prominently displayed a poster of a brecciated uranium pipe having a familiar look.  I was surprised to find that Liberty Star published it, and I would guess Jim Briscoe himself drew it - it used to be on the company Web site.

The point is, I am stunned to realize this morning that I've been posting on Liberty Star message boards for about 16 years.
