I went to the ALS Lab website to see if there would be some clue as to a typical timeline from when samples are sent until assay results. It was a long shot, but there is no typical timeline or estimate. I briefly flirted with the idea of sending a consumer message on their site asking for general timelines on the process from collecting a core (or channeling) sample and completion of an assay result, but thought better about it after a few microseconds. I'd like to know if those previoulsy cited sources from a couple years ago on the topic of how busy labs are would still be relevant. You're right about four months on channeling samples since the news release came out on March 5th. No idea if any actual on-site work is still being done at Hay Mountain or if it is just in some type of planning phase. Whatever is going on at RRC or HM is probably on a short pause for at least the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th of July so Monday we're looking at July 8 already.
