Early on, there was a bit of a leap in the share price on small volumes. Then, one highly unusual trade pushed the price up to a gain of about 62 percent on the day. That trade for 100 shares.
Usually, trades are not permitted outside of bid and ask ranges, but it happens with this stock fairly often. To my knowledge, only licensed securities dealers can do this. When it happens, it can give some observers a false impression of the market, and they will jump in for fear of missing out (FOMO). FOMO, in my opinion, is what is driving the LBSR market this morning.
