Message: revisit Geraldo King

I realize everyone here is more than capable of reading our news releases, but with the somewhat lengthy period without any company news--and very few posts here (except good news about the price of gold and copper--thanks to VP and others), I wanted to revisit a couple sentences in the announcement of our new board member, who has closed over $25 billion in transactions, seemingly much of it in the mining industry. This quote from Pete: I have come to know and admire Geraldo's insight, experience and work ethic over the past year."  Pete's quote goes on to say that Geraldo's "unique expertise in mining joint ventures throughout the world will give us exposure to the mining companies that could find our mineral opportunities at Hay Mountain and Red Rock Canyon a compelling joint venture opportunity."

The few words I keep focusing on are:"over the past year." This may turn out to be nothing, but I can't help thinking that whatever the one-year relationship between Geraldo and Pete, it could really lead to important news sooner than later--especially if the latest lab analysis that should come soon reinforces RRC's desirability. I obviously have no idea who Geraldo had talked to or maybe even had in mind for a JV over the past year, but just the fact that he accepted a board membership says loads of what he thinks of the news thus far, without even the benefit of the latest pulp analyses and any 3-D modeling. I choose to believe that this one-year relationship between Geraldo and Pete opened some doors at least a crack and will end up helping us at some point not far down the road. Still conjecturing some type of good news in October. I know I always say this, but I'd love to hear other opinions--even any that disagree with me.
