One share at the close of the day may or may not have meaning. Sometimes, such sales are made so brokers can balance ("square") what they had to buy for clients and what may have been left over from what they sold for clients.

Anyway, your post sent me looking at my own portfolio, where I saw other odd trades today as well.

My largest holding had 771 trades today, but the last one was for SEVEN shares. My second largest holding traded 139,000 shares, but the last trade was for EIGHT shares. Aztec's last trade was for TEN shares.

These are odd to see, but as a broker-acquaintance once said, "It's the market," meaning sometimes we just have to note these things, shrug, and move on.
