07:56 AM EDT, 03/18/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Mountain Province Diamonds (MPVD.TO) may add to the losses of yesterday and hit even more 52 week lows after saying overnight Tuesday that it has postponed its third diamond sale of 2020 until further notice due to city-wide closures in Antwerp Belgium. The company said in a statement that COVID-19 may have an impact on future sales depending on the length of the closure periods.

The company added it is reviewing alternative sales methods, according to a statement.

TSX shares slid 8.3% on Tuesday to $0.55 apiece in a 52-week range of $0.55 - 1.65.
