Myth of the Yukon

As a Yukoner, I would like anyone considering investing in this company to know a few things about the Territory.
I travel south of 60 frequently and am amazed at people who live in the south's impressions of the place. They've read The Call of The Wild, watched too many Yvon of the Yukon cartoons, or something. Another investor recently told me he wasn't too sure about such an "isolated" deposit.
You may be quite surprised to know that Carmacks, the community near Northern Freegold's property, has a lot of facilities that a community of its' size in the south may not. It is on the Yukon Power grid. It has high speed internet courtesy of a modern fibre optic cable strung from Whitehorse to Dawson in 2000. It is on a highway that is paved and maintained year round. The streets in the downtown core of Carmacks are paved. It has a state of the art school that was built and completed only a year ago. There are modern computers in every classroom, on a 4 year replacement schedule. There is a heated public gym with a youth center in Carmacks, (the school has a large gym, too) a curling rink, a covered outdoor skating rink, two community centres, a covered outdoor swimming pool, a modern clinic with doctor drop-ins once or twice a week, a Yukon College branch, and an airport that is maintained year round with a tower and heated waiting area. And yes, it does have cell service, but I wouldn't count on 3G working there! All of this in a community of 453 people.
I don't even know how many channels I get on satellite, but I do know I can watch just about anything you can, if I want to pay for it.
And everyone drives down their paved highway to shop at the box stores in Whitehorse (Wal-mart, Canadian Tire, and Real Canadian Superstore) on the weekend.
