The other thing that could get us taken very seriously would be if NFR can demonstrate continuity of the high grade results they got in 2008. Rainy River got some high grade results a couple years ago, but didn't manage to prove coninuity until this year. Their share price languished in the interim. I waited until the hype and high prices were over with, and bought at the height of the crash. Their shares are up somewhere between 300 and 400% for me since 2008.

Not saying the same will happen, but there are a lot of similarities... Multiple gold zones, some high grade results, very underexplored, and at that, very shallowly drilled. Once their geologic model is improved by more drilling, their ability to predict where richer deposits are, especially the deep ones, will improve. During the current lull of inactivity may be the best time to invest.

In order for this company to really get moving, though, Northern Freegold will have to start financing bigger, and drilling later into the year, possibly year round. If Tyhee can do it on the NWT tundra, from an ice road, Northern Freegold can surely do it here. The access from Carmacks could be year round, and -40 only hits a few weeks a year. It hasn't happened yet, this year.
