Multi-Billion Dollar Agreement Signed With Oman
So who shall we hold accountable for the death from illness of the former minister? Shall we hold the govt responsible for choosing a poor replacement (ok, good luck with that!)? Should we be greatful for the new minister who is the first to show real interest and intent to move forward quickly? Yes!
I am very involved in the business world and get to meet many senior management teams to discuss their companies, etc. Risk management is very key to any company's success ... but that doesn't mean one can create an air tight ship immune from "stuff that happens". And management has ALWAYS advised caution.
I am not advocating a policy of no-accountability. What I'm saying is that you can't hold someone accountable for everything that goes wrong. And to try to lay blame on OMAG's management for things outside of their control, for things they have repeatedly warned us about, just isn't fair and does not make sense to me. This has been from the beginning, and remains, an endeavor highly dependent upon outside forces.
That being said, yes, let's move forward.
