Probably because we're all very anxious, and the last 8k was extremely encouraging and we are using (once again) our own cultural filter to define " ... soon after ...".

On an interesting note, just got off the phone with Charlie (couldn't get him to break ... he'd make a terrific White House spokesperson; and a terrific spy), and he mentioned (after I brought the subject up) that Oman's weekend USED to be Thurs/Fri, but they recently switched to Fri/Sat to align with the rest of the Arab world.

So if we don't hear anything by tomorrow, and it doesn't look like we will, hopefully they'll be news next week. This hope is NOT based on any comments by Charlie.
