Thanks for calling attention to my miscalculation of the float. My float figure of 4.5 million shares should have been 6.3 million, still a very thin float.

In my computation, I based management's 30% closely held stock on 15 million shares outstanding instead of the 9 million shares representing Omagine, Inc's 60% interest in Omagine LLC. With the Sultan et al ( not alton) holding 6 million shares (40% of 15 million) and Omagine , Inc's management holding 2.7 million shares (30%of Omagine, Inc.'s 9 milion), that leaves a float of 6.3 miilion ( 15 million - 8.7 million closely held (6 + 2.7).
