Beachmaster - I think you're forgetting about what would drive demand. If a company is trading at a moderate to substantial discount to it's value, then demand would be high. And it likely would be high relative to supply because existing shareholders would be aware of the intrinsic value of their holdings and, presumably, would not sell for much less than that value.
