NICK, the only change is that you can't buy on margin. I used to, but haven't in years. Most people never do. It's extremely risky. Gains and losses are exacerbated (multiplied). Great if your stock goes up (assuming you're long), disaster if the price drops. (Goodbye house, spouse and dog).
