Now that the Summer Solstace arrived on Father's day at 12:38 in the afternoon, "let's get ready to rumble". Global warming is upon us---sure beats global cooling! Who among us can ever forget what havoc that darn Ice Age played on the Earth. If the seas rise a tad or two in our lifetime, we need not concern ourselves with a shrinking beach. Frank will simply arrange to pump in more sand. The last time I checked Google Earth, there seemed to be plenty of sand in the Middle East to go around. So let's get cracking on those obligatory signatures that were guaranteed when the DA was signed in October and nail down that contract with CCC-Oman. Once those items are completed and the Financial arrangements are finalized, we will then begin to see the architectural and engineering plans get completed and one day actually witness the bulldozers pushing some sand! I know, I know there are a multitude of steps in between but as with a marathon---and this ordeal is certainly a Marathon---it all begins with the first steps.
