Multi-Billion Dollar Agreement Signed With Oman
I had the distinct pleasure(not) of dealing with someone on twitter who shorted OMAG last week and he attacked the value of the stock based upon the Usufruct Rights. As Oiler pointed out, he too brought up the point that OMAG would not be able to sell based upon the value of the Usufruct Rights. If that were not enough, he then went on to attack Agora, using very old news stories that went back as far as 15 or more years. To top it off, he said if in fact OMAG was truly worth what it claims, why wouldn't they be preparing to uplist asap? Needless to say he was very effective in pursuading others to stay away from OMAG, but in the end I had made my point and frustrated him to a point where he had to resort to some very unsavory tactics that ended up hurting him.
It's very dangerous to short a stock with such low volume and this short was ridiculed for shorting such a low volume stock. I think it all boils down to credibility at this point and as long as OMAG remains in this lower exchange, folks are not convinced enough to go long at this point. That was the direct feedback I received when introducing the stock to few fellows. They just don't buy into the value based upon the Usufruct Rights, and down here in BB land, nobody is willing to tie up their money at this time, because they feel it will be some time before the stock will garner enough long interest to keep pushing the PPS upwards.
That is what it all boils down to and the longer the PPS remains stagnet, more and more will get bored with it and liquidate their shares for something a little more exciting that has better chance of producing some quick gains. It's just the nature of the beast I guess, so we will have to remain patient for the longer term. As Bill pointed out, the PWC vauluation may indeed play a role in attracting some new longs when OMAG puts out a PR to announce it. When trading in these lower exchanges, news is everything, and very few will be willing to go long until it is ready to uplist soon. Cheers!
