Multi-Billion Dollar Agreement Signed With Oman
Hey JB! The $1.4 Billion NPV is my favorite part as well. The previous NPV estimate provided by OMAG was three years ago and the NPV was "only" $450 million. So the NPV estimate has tripled!
This makes estimates for a future stock price in the $20s look low!
A $1.4 billion NPV probably means total net positive cash flows of at least $2.5 billion.
Even if Omagine's ownership of the LLC drops to 50% from 60%, that's still $1.25 billion in cash flow from the project. Add in another $50 million to account for the deferred investment, success fee, etc. Even if the shares outstanding increase to 30 million by the time the project is finished, that's still $1.3 billion / 30 million shares = $43!
Of course, to get to $43/share, Omagine needs to get significant financing in place. Also, the Omagine Project actually needs to be built, which could take 6+ years.
My guess is OMAG trades between $10 and $20 once it gets the construction financing in place. Until then, I think OMAG will start making the move toward $10 at some point in the next few months. Once Omagine hits a few more milestones (finalize the CCC contract, hire a financial adviser, hire an IR firm, sell part of the LLC to raise capital, trigger the $70MM payment to the LLC, etc.) I think the market will have to take notice.
