I can't imagine management would allow the accountants to alter the appraised value. We have 3 independent valuations, 2 of which were prepared by experts who live and work on the ground in Oman and the region ... and based on current selling prices of like parcels. The average of all 3 is more than reasonable and likely understated due to the low figure coming from a group that had less experience than the other two. The accountants were certainly in the loop regarding the approach management took ... before the valuations came back. No, I can't see the $718m being in question.
