Of course Alton is correct. We live in a global economy. A project like Omag would not even be possible if not for free access to the labor market in India, the construction capabilities in Greece, the management and financial expertise in USA and products and services from all over the globe. Tariffs and free trade restrictions are a killer.
All business people know this and I believe all politicians know it as well. I am just cynical enough to think that when they say otherwise they are pandering for votes, because if you don't get elected nothing alse matters.
