Portage Minerals Inc. Toronto, On.,CNSX: RKX; was incorporated in 2006 as a junior mining exploration and development company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral prospects in Canada and the United States of America.

Rockport Mining Corp. was founded in 2007 as a private mineral exploration corporation exploring for gold and other metals in Eastern Canada. Rockport’s assets now form part of the amalgamated company.

On November 7, 2010, Rockport Mining Corp. and Portage Minerals Inc. completed an amalgamation and received approval by the Canadian National Stock Exchange to commence trading under symbol RKX as of November 11, 2010.

Portage has an exciting portfolio of advanced exploration properties. Current initiatives include a 45 hole drill program on the Golden Ridge property completed in November 2010.

The Golden Ridge Property comprising 3,386 hectares, is located 80 kilometres west of the City of Fredericton in York County, New Brunswick.

Our focus is gold and antimony in Eastern Canada.
