Your take on the Anom.. is much like my take on it.
However, I am not by any means an expert on trading.
Also, I feel that when dealing with these Micro Cap companies when their share price is bown, such as in June-August, and volumes are low, it is of assistance to investors and traders while shuffleing and or sellong off or accumulating. Given the low volumes at such times it makes computerized tracking of such info more difficult. This, I would expect, gives big Micro Cap investors and traders some kind of advantage over their competitors and the like. As for myself, I have not payed close attention to this kind of thing untill the last few years as I was far too busy with other things. I do know that there are literally millions out there that make this kind of stuff their living, either for clients/broker firms/venture capital firms or as indepentents (recall the big down sizing in 1989-1990 in the broker firm community).

PS: There have been many PhD's on this stuff over the years and many variations on many theories along with that. So, in this regard all the big players and very serious investors are much on a somewhat level playing field and individuals such as myself make due with the best somewhat educated guess(s) possible under the circumstances. Knowledge is important but interpretation based on experience is more important (still?), I expect. Same goes for any enterprise.
