NOT - Hole NOT-09-49

We are entering into a critical stage of the exploration activities. Within the next two weeks, IMO, the initial drilling activities are supposed to be complete and we will probably hear several news releases by then.

Drilling was expected to be done in several locations, each discovery will have its own merit to be followed up with the second round of drilling plan.

As I posted the map earlier, all discoveries (Eagle one & two, Blackbird one & two, AT12, Big Daddy, Black Thor) were found on the Ultramafic rock band that is narrow in width and stretched from Eagle two at south end to the jv claim block at north end.

The recent Noront news release suggests new zones below this known Ultramafic rock and it could triple the high-grade Ni-Cu PGE Mineralization at Eagle one. Assay results from the lab will confirm the significance of this discovery. It reports Nearly 250 metres of semi-massive sulphides and 200 metres of massive sulphides, and NOT/PRB jv properties are only 450 mtres away. I believe Probe/Not planned a deep down drilling in jv claim block. As you know the NOT's finding may not be immediate as all drilling activities by Noront were bundled for reporting at once. If NOT uses their own rig for a deep down drilling in jv block, it could be underway or may be done soon. Do you remember that the drilling plan took some delays for sign-off? There were no details on additional four drilling targets in PRB's NR (June 23rd). Then NOT made a press release (June 29th). Again, this is entirely my own opinion.

"Hole NOT-09-49 was planned as a 1,000-metre platform hole for a borehole electromagmetic survey evaluating the depth extension of the Eagle One mineralization. The hole was located at the northwestern contact of the Eagle One conduit. Visual inspection suggests the hole parallels the contact between the peridotite and granodiorite for its entire length. This hole intersected two zones of disseminated, semi-massive and massive sulphides one from 269.54 metres to 510.69 metres and the other from 749.7 metres to 945.67 metres, more than tripling the known down dip extent of the Eagle One mineralization to greater than 900 metres. The current results provide no information regarding the true thickness of the newly discovered zones because the hole was designed to follow the mineralization down dip and determine vertical continuity. Subsequent drilling will test these zones at higher angles to establish thickness."

"Hole NOT-09-049, drilled down the mineralized structure at Eagle One, proves that high-grade nickel-copper-PGE mineralization continues well below the previously interpreted resource limit. We are currently re-evaluating our planned exploration for the remainder of the field season with a view toward aggressively pursuing resource expansion at Eagle One."
