TORONTO, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: NOT) at the request of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, Noront retracts the estimated mine life and revenue projections for the Blackbird chromite deposit as disclosed in our Press Release of December 9, 2008, as these projections are not supported by an independent economic analysis.
