One has to figure that the exchange must have been asking questions on Friday. I have never seen an instance where a company could have a 50 fold increase in volume tied to a 45% share price increase without raising some eyebrows. Yet there was no halt, nor was there any statement from the company to date.
If there was an offer coming down the pipe and the company was onside with it to the extent that they could reply to questions from the exchange without making any public statement, why would they suddenly announce an SRP? And why make it effective at the close today?
Very intriguing, to say the least.
Best regards
