I think they are looking for where the support level is... JMHO

Haven,t you noticed that a bidder allways makes the statement as to where the share price is likely to go if a bid is withdrawn.... to make that statement they need some kind of indicator to reflect that.... This might be it.

I figure that an offer may be eminent as it appeers BMO is instrumental in hiting the bid to new lows each time.

This would be a great time for that Goldex royalty to come in... That would take any money issues off the table.

Dave could also anounce that the second round of drilling on Borden is underway or that he has reached some kind of deal with LSG. Lots of irons in the fire.
