sounds like cliffs is going full steam ahead into the steel exporting business. the chromite is the other raw material they need to make stainless steel. if they can drop 4.9 billion for the ore then 100 million for the chromite doesnt seem to far fetched. it says in the news release that it is part of cliffs ongoing strategy to acummulate raw materials for export outside north america.
