I made an inquiry regarding their trading activities. My response is that there seemed to be nothing irregular regarding their trading pattern and that their trades were way too small to warrant any kind of investigations .It appears that Jitney is a legitimate company buying and selling stocks for clients with a minimum of 15 thousands dollars in the account. It was found by a group of ex-brokers from the montreal stock excharge.Just the kind of people who understand all the loopholes in order to manipulate the market with the right connections as well. They were cited by the OSC once for changing their name without proper notifications.
Well. as long as they do not restrict themselves by trading only between one or two parties exclusively, nothing seems to be suspicious at this point other than making one wonders how they manage to make money for their clients unless they are content to make a couple of dollars from time to time.It seems to me that they use frequent trading as a mean to extract broker fees for themselves and rip off their stupid clients.
