siegfried,

I can't answer your question directly as there is little info other then the geological description provided in NR's. It would be good if Dave provided info on the drill hole geology but that probably provides too much.

Just about anything can be intersected but I suspect we don't find much quartz at depth, I would rather have the disseminated sulphides; pyrite and/or arsenopyrite, extend to depth as they appear to be minerals widely associated with the gold. Arsenopyrite for example, if present, is known to be widely associated with gold as well as antimony at least in some formations. I don't know if the antimony association is present in the greenstone rock in Ont. but we often see it in NB. The best situation would have the very wide low grade gold zone extend as a massive unit sub-vertically or vertical and off course increase in grade with depth as was noted in NR's.

A reasonable example would be Trelawney [TRR] where they have gold in a greenstone belt with the best grades 200 to 300 m plus in depth. The grade at depth appears to be in the 0.8 to 2 gram range over 200 m widths but nearer surface the widths from what I see on a first look are quite narrow. Despite this and a float of some 90 million shares, about 130 million fully diluted, the SP is about $4. I didn't see a NI 43-101 but will look further, it may be there. Given our second drill program which could identify a resource over some 1000 m it is resonable to get another program that gets info between the 100 m spaced holes completed in Phases 1 and 2, from which PRB can get a NI 43-101 later this year for the top 200 m. More speculation on my part but you can see where this goes should we get the 43-101 this year and off course the grade continues over 1000 m strike length.

A long way around your quartz question with lots of rambling on my part.
