Globe says Richfield maintained at "speculative buy"

The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Jan. 13, edition that Richfield Ventures advanced a nickel to finish Wednesday on the TSX Venture Exchange at $4.40. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes in the Eye On Equities column that Richfield Ventures stock has a 52-week range of 87 cents to $5.10. Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon analyst Michael Fowler says Richfield Ventures reported a "spectacular" drill hole result at its Blackwater project, grading 1.23 grams per tonne gold over an interval of 222 metres. The analyst says four other holes on the margins of the gold mineralizing system returned low grades over more moderate widths, which was expected. Mr. Fowler maintained a "speculative buy" on the stock and a $6.23 price target.
