Here is a recent commentary by Sudbury Star editor Brian MacLeod and today's Toronto Star article.

So let's summarize the issue. Cliffs wants taxpayers to pay for the railroad. I am okay with that.

Cliff's wants a subsidized power rate for the refinery. I am okay with that.

Cliff's want to send ore outside of Canada for processing. What bloody nerve. How arrogant.

Buy the deposit back from them and offer the project to the Chinese in return for access to a strategic metal.
