IF all that`s true, why didn`t Dave or Karen smooth more than a few ruffled feathers and just say that themselves ?
Don`t get me wrong,i certainly hope your "read" is correct, but if that`s the case, then Dave and Karen KNOW that and should provide that information to their confused shareholders.
Many of us weren`t aware that "good news" meant the stock price would plummet. If your scenario is indeed correct, then there`s a little thing called 'lying by omission'to consider, because if what you say is true, wouldn`t they know it too ?
Next time they`re "pleased to announce",they should include a"but" in the "pleasing announcement" if they know the news is going to do what you just explained.Of course then EVERYone would bail for a while, and they know that.Kind of a Catch 22 for them, with us caught in the midle for a while longer than expected
Something still isn`t kosher here, but it`s done now and there`s nothing we can do about it other than ride out the storm and hope we don`t get swamped along the way.
As i stated earlier though,at least we now know what "pleasing news" from management means for the immediate stock price
