This is one thought considering conditions:

1. Announce a buy-back of shares(or extend a special rights offering to current shareholders).

And Contact Pierre Lassonde from Franco Nevada(FNV), when necessary, and sell a small NSR and some stock to him for future cash requirements. Or, even speak to Royal Gold(RGLD) another mining royalty company. STAY AWAY FROM THE INVESTMENT BANKS in the future, they do nothing but suck blood from shareholders following offerings.

We are at war, we need to defend ourselves. Aside from general share weakness being effected by lower gold prices there is approaching hope. The senior gold, Newmont Mining, is slowly approaching major support at its significant $50 level. Aside from $50 being a big number it is also the location of NEM's ascending 1000 day moving average which is another monster supposrt booster.

I firmly believe NEM will stabilize at $50 or above and psychologically support the whole PM related sector even if gold continues to act anemic thoughout 2012.
