Was just waiting for the Advil to kick in after a few too many hops last night. Now that I have squinted my way through the posts, here is my take.
The land deal is not yet signed and the price they are asking is still going up. Why? Well, we are sitting on a viable mine due to the size of the HGZ and those cottage/land owners plan on adding a few bedrooms to make it look like they want to stay. Unfortunately, a real estate attorney or two hitched a ride along with the malaria up to Borden over the last 6 months and started knocking on cottage doors. Be prepared for a very large number when we announce that deal..."we spent what on the land!?"
Basically a few firms/bigger shareholders are selling now, taking profits, and will wait for the orchastrated dip after that NR. The research firms will spin the NR as too rich a price at this stage in the game. They already are putting out valuations that are riduiculously low, so piling on will be their next move.
Overall, not a big deal for those of us who have stayed strong. Further assays will be stellar, and when the time comes the manipulators will let the price run.
I agree with Rosehill and others that this is frustrating and perhaps even scary as we look so exposed for a low-ball offer, but I dont believe they will do that now, AEM or others. They too will wait and see how things unfold.
Basically, Dave has a strong hand, good instincts, a poker face and a growing HGZ up his sleeve. A minefield for him/us? Yes, but he has proven to be a field general capable of winnning these battles.
Its still only round 2...buy the dips...brace yourself for the land deal number...sell your other mining winners with less potential than Probe and keep your powder ready.
I'm going to lay down...pleasant dreams to all.
