Im very dissapointed but not surprised that our bench is not very deep in the skill sets we desperately need at this crucial juncture. Apparently, other than Dave it seems the Board is "yawning under the awning".
Truthfully, if you do a very poor job presenting when in reality you have all the cards to win over the room with a Royal Flush it means you did not prepare. Many of us on this Board could spend a few nights preparing and wow a room full of potential investors. IMO the Board has a responsibility to ensure we do not squander these opportunities. They failed. Stainless must be fuming...
Forward thinking...
From Peter's post it appears we will have a string of NR's forthcoming in October through Q1. As mentioned we have a history of delays in this regard which has in the past and may in the future offer an opportunity for the shorts and the traders to pounce. If so, we must stand tall and get additional shares in our strong hands. If it materializes I will be an aggressive buyer. I believe in Borden and I believe in Dave. His backpack is full of golden core samples and when the news comes it will be well received. Its just a fact that this sector is teeming with back room deals and unscrupulous behavior...if we agree to swim in these waters we must be willing to rescue our crew if we hit stormy seas.
Regardless of the presenter in Denver, the big picture is better than it has ever been. The opportuinity for investors is incredible. The Borden property is world class. The cash position is robust. I have faith that our time will come.
One last thought...perhaps Dave is getting ready to separate the company in to Probe Gold and Probe Chromite. If this is at all under consideration it may be prudent to do so prior to the pending developments in our pipeline. I allow others here to speculate as to why that may, or may not, make sense if you chose to chime in. So, Mr. Palmer...what say you?
