BarbuBeatnik,
I wish you well in your future investments. It is nice to exit a postion with a triple on your money. However in my humble opinion the reason to sell should not be based on how much you are up or down, but based soley on what the investments future value is likely to be. You would be hard pressed to come up with many companies that have the strong evidence Probe does to suppport an increased value going forward. The drilling results to date have been very good and are only getting better as Dave gains an increased understanding of the area. Sure you can get out here with a nice profit, but where are you going to deploy these assets going forward? There are a few interesting Juniors selling for pennies that may have big upside, but that is for play money that you know you are likely to lose. Probe is not without it risks, but what is already proven provides a strong foundation going forward.
I think eveyone here agrees Dave has done an incredible job on this project to date. He knows the property today better than he ever has and based on this knowledge has initiated a very aggressive winter drilling program on the ice. I am confident Dave has a pretty good idea what he is likely to find down there and once he does this story gets even better.
No one know for sure what the price of gold will be in a year. But the actions of governments taken around the world lead me to believe there is a case to be made for an increased value going forard.
If we get to 8-10 million ounces proven (which is likely to happen, not pie in the sky here) and gold continues it's move higher Probe will move significantly to the upside.
I am happy to wait it out. My shares are not for sale.
