One interesting paragraph: "Mr. Letwin, the chief executive of gold miner IAMGold Corp. IMG.T -0.84% , found the grades of gold being produced in the three pits he visited were so low that miners would need to dig up 100 metric tons of rock to produce just one ounce of gold. He said his own mines move around 32 tons of rock per ounce."
So, PRB LGZ would be up to his standard, infact better than his Cote Lake (@ just below 1gpt, and 75% of the deposit, when he paid $600M for it, were in the inferred category).
There were some remarks from AEM on grades as well. Location is very important, as usual. Despite higher grades in one of its properties in the Canadian Arctic, this is not economical due to the harsh weather and the lack of infrastructure. That's why it went for Osisko, ...and later... Probe as well?
