GC,
I guess you can tell that I’m not a happy camper today. As a long term shareholder of Probe shares I have witnessed much change in the company over the years. This includes the time when Dave told me personally that he had to look for gold and put the chromite play on the shelf. It was a radical move full of unknowns and risk. Today when I look back on Dave’s decision to look for gold I can appreciate the risk he took and applaud his courage and hard work for making BL what it is today. I supported him then and will continue to support him in the future. When Dave set out to look for gold the motive was clear. Dave told me that , “gold was hot and will bring value to the company." The rest is history.
To me the last news release signals a change in direction for Probe’s Boarden Lake project. Once again, I see the move as a response to market forces. The price of gold is dropping and it takes higher grade to make a mine profitable. I believe this is what Mike Hocking was trying to tell us in his report. We now have a similar situation setting up with Mike calling for a ridiculous target and the other analysts all have their thumbs up. We know how the situation ended the last time we were in this spot. Our stock price dropped a substantial amount.
Who will be the victor in this round? The situation certainly has me concerned and a little displeased at our current state.
