With all this lovely weather we've been having, you can't helping thinking about the beach, the cottage and of course, golf ! And getting together woth a terrific group of people from the Agoracom forums, the mining companies of the Ring of Fire, other mining companies like Zenyatta, Canada Carbon, etc. and other investor sites like Trading Chief.
This is a great venue to meet and greet some of the great posters and mining execs you've spoken to or read their posts, but never met before or are rekindling your meeting with them. Great posters like Babjak, The Hoov, Irish, Glorieux, Repairman, Mustangman, Storm, Trace, Chauncey Gardiner, Crazydik, Truckulater, Shakey and so many more whom I can call friends and in some cases, buddies. And mining execs and staff like Elaine & Malcome, Paul Semple, Richard Nemis, Bruce Hodgman and Frank Smeeck whom are all super nice and intelligent.
This is your chance to become a part of this great event. I invite you all to take part in it and enjoy it as much as many of us have. You won't regret the experience.
And so now it is time to start collecting entries and monies for the event ASAP as another deposit is now required by the golf course.
If you would like to be part of the golf tournament, you need to contact me with your golf info (hcp, level of play, etc.). If you want to attend just the dinner & entertainment portion, you can contact myself or Glorieux with your payment.
Payments can be made a couple of ways : If you're paying me for the entry, it has to be by email transfer or by cheque. If it's going to Francis (glorieux), he may be able to process credit card payments as well, athough he would have to confirm that.
The details of the tournament are listed below......
Thanks !

We invite you to join investors, mining executives and dignitaries from the Ring of Fire mining region and other popular mining regions of Canada in a comfortable golf and country club setting.
You may enter for golf & dinner plus entertainment or you are most welcome to attend for just dinner & entertainment. In either case, you will be thoroughly pleased with the quality of this annual event.
The golf tournament will be a scramble format or as most refer to, a best ball, with four members on each team. Tee off will be at 1:00 PM.
Teams will be arranged by the tournament committee according to playing abilities to level the field so that all teams are competitive, so we’ll need to know how well or not so well you play, with hcp. if possible.
All golfers will receive a welcome gift from Royal Woodbine and there will be prizes awarded for the winning teams and closest to the pin and longest drive for both men & ladies.
We have arranged a spectacular dinner that includes a roast prime rib and roast chicken curasco buffet, vegetarian pasta in a tomato sauce, roasted potatoes with chef’s selection of vegetables, salads, antipasto, bread & rolls, desserts and wine on every table. In addition, hot & cold hors d’oeuvres will also be served before dinner. Dinner will be served at approx. 6:30 PM.
There will be live entertainment once again this year, with an excellent band performing a set of lively music for the guests after dinner. And we anticipate some guest speakers throughout the evening’s festivities.
We are also arranging a raffle draw for some high end prizes to benefit a designated hospital in the Greater Toronto area.
And we are in the process of negotiating discounted rates at some of the top quality Toronto Int’l. Airport hotels, all within 5 minutes of the golf course. Taxis will also be pre-arranged upon request.
