With regard to the question - why did AEM sold shares? Perhaps AEM was signalling thier displeasure with Probe entertaining another suitor by selling a few shares?

I'm really interested as to who is purchasing this private placement. Just speculation - but perhaps Goldcorp is looking to get involved with Probe after loosing out to AEM on Osisko. Canadian Marlartic the main Osisko property is a low-grade mine with reserves of approximately 10,000,000 oz. Probe looks to me to be a potential substitution with the added bonus of a little tit-for-tat.
