Absolutely, I am counting on it. The trust in governments is very low. I get the dynamic fiat currency works if everyone borrows. If you are a country like Canada rich in resources ...you have it manage your debt. If you get out of debt and run surplus all the time...other fiat currencies will invest in your currency. When all the indebted nations invest in your "debt" free currency it drives up the value...making all your goods and resources to expensive...so you can't compete.....and so the answer is to stay in debt at similar levels to other fiat currencies. This is a house of cards ....and it will lead back to gold. If you have oil then terrific If you have silver terrific If you have platinum terrific If you have lumber terrific If you have resources of any nature then terrific....as long as they are in demand. China built condo cities and they are empty....so now they are turning to gold. Look at the volumes in shanghai and upcoming singapore exchange. The Chinese are now taking on gold. I believe they will back their currency...and the u.s dollar will fail. Their is no real employment in the u.s. some sectors are spasmodic at best...maybe IT....but manufacturing is not terrific. On the whole governments are in trouble.....in Alberta where I live....the provincial pensions are in shortfall and they like other governments have been caught with their pants down. They can't hire the people required to replenish the pension. Shortfalls. So at the end of the day....we do more with less. The company I work for is doing more with less.....governments can't always follow this...because their are to many promises ( pensions benefits ) to fulfill going forward. Canada is trying to solve this via immigration....and I believe they will be successful going down this path. Canada has to many resources "too big to fail" As for gold...it's going to be a rocky road....hold on and probe will do well. They only need two things...clean up the land position and hit on east limb. We will see a low buyout unless the land gets sorted...then maybe over 8 bucks.... If youre willing to wait then I am confident you will be rewarded. After all it's only time Tide and time waits for no man Captain time
