Accuweather has a 10 day forecast of below average temperatures and little snow for Chapleau (Borden Lake). The cold will certainly help with thickening the ice up but it will probably be late Januuary early February before its thick enough to put drills on. They would like to see 18-24 inches of clear ice and a cold trend before starting ice operations.

I believe there is a significant backlog of information that we will see dribble out over the next two months. Lots to look forward to.
