Warrantlessbob is absolutely right, not a good offer. It's a no brainer for GoldCorp to dish out their inflated currency for a growing gold asset. Why do they get to steal our future at such a low price? The new company? Nothing but hogwash. I've been down this road before and ended up with nothing in the end. What concerns me is all those stock options that were handed out to the Board and others when they really knew something was in the works while faithful long-time shareholders were dropped down the shaft.

Past shareholders on deals like these have been financially raped over and over again. All Board members who agreed to GoldCorp's terms are not representing our interests and need to resign but then again, it's just about the money and not us. It would appear the common shareholders have been left out to freeze their buns off on an infamous cold winter night while the Board sipped their brandy's around their warm stoves marveling at all the money they would make.

How much money will Jamie make on his quick options flip? And for Dave, I'm very disappointed in him. Sure you found the gold but you weren't in on this by yourself. You got to use the company's backing and approval to support you. Could you have done it by yourself?

Fellow shareholders, don't fall for this inferior offering for GoldCorp's currency while watching its shares drop like a stone in the remaining months of this year as the retail gold holders continue to exit the metal. Sure it's been up lately but the intermediate trend is still pointed DOWN. If this deal goes through my advice is to get the hell out of GoldCorp and buy puts on their shares for the true profits you should have enjoyed if the Board had ever thought past lining their pockets.
