Well this was exactly what my thoughts were, so I was a bit surprised. Your point of getting on with it in my opinion is appropriate, But I'm looking at how to maximize the return in the short term and consequently still keeping my fingers crossed. Especially where I had been comfortable with what Probe had found and was doing.

At present though I have my doubts a little as I think it could have been a better find and that information has been suppressed.

Playing the conpiratorial card I wonder if the thought process of this bid from Gold Corp was engineered by Probe in the fashion that the find was that good that if they could get one company to bid, in this case Gold Corp, then because the find was so good in Probe's mind, Agnico would come up very quuicly with a counter offer. That way both suitors and owners of large amounts of shares could be played out against each other. Probably the idea was brought on by the new help recently aquired. Agnico being familiar with these ploys probably pulled out and wanted no part of it leaving Dave with the lower bid. I'm sure he is not happy with it, but having set it in motion has no option to get out of it. At least he will have new Probe. I wonder though how much the new "gold corp gorilla" owners will strangle Dave's ability to operate his new Probe. I'm sure it won't be an easy go, regardless if he gets to cash in a healthy check (which I hope he gets) or not.
