When we look back...

So here I am, hanging out with the wife and my two sons. We just finished watching UConn put the finishing touches on a big men's basketball win over a top 25 team. It's snowing again, the fireplace is roaring, and I just popped open my 3rd delicious dark beer of the day. It's called Phantom Punch Winter Stout and is brewed in Lewiston, Maine in the town where Muhammad Ali won his fight over Sonny Liston. Life is really good right now, but somehow I just dont feel great despite the win, and the great beer. Then it hits me...
Sony Liston went down for the count on a phantom punch. He told close friends it was the biggest regret of his life. He had a chance to be great...to be the champ...to be legendary. But he took the easy money because it was good enough at the time. And that is what many on this Board have done, or are still considering doing. I don't blame them. Human nature easily justifies taking that action, and spewing to others that it was the right thing to do. And those folks are Sonny Liston. And it will haunt them forever. But what really bugs me is that there are those on this forum who are telling you that you should be Sonny Liston, that you should lay down because it's the right thing to do. But those folks are not in your corner. They are a promoter. They are Don King. They make waaay more than you on this deal. Not because they have more shares, but because they have a completely different deal. They have side deals, back room deals, incentives that you can't even imagine. So when you vote, just know you are voting for them, not you. Take Dave out of the equation...he earned whatever side deal he cut. But the others here, they are landing jab after jab and your face looks the part. You will regret this for the rest of your life. Trust me, you will.
I voted NO with every one of my shares. Ill sleep well knowing I defended my turf, my corner, and my face. Look in the mirror before you vote. Win or lose, go down swinging...
Respectfully,
-Kingpin
