A reality check regarding Sage and we investors.

I am not knocking the writer of the below post from the other forum when he wrote the below comments but I think his exhuberance is, shall we say, a tad on the emotional side.

------------------------------------...

Regarding the enclosed portion of your post. Not trying to strain a gnat here but IMO you left out a couple of ingredients in what you wrote regarding Sage in 08. You said,

"WHAT A TRADER, WILD RIDE MONEY MAKER THIS ONE IS ABOUT TO BECOME.
ITS ALL ABOUT THE KNOWING HOW TO KEEP THE EXCITEMENT ALIVE AND ONGOING"

I, like you and many others here agree that Sage Gold, as a spec play, in a volatile market, in an even more volatile world, is going to be a wild ride in 2008.

However as for it being a money maker that is another question. That might have more to do with the individual investors choice of when he or she chooses to sell and buy back in and repeat the process as often as the opportunity allows, than it will Sage Gold per se.
As for keeping the excitement alive and ongoing that part will in IMO, ultimately have more to do with how well SGX does in the discovery part of the company's life.

Personally I have a terrible trading record in trying to catch the highs and lows. That along with the big guys using all their knowledge, saavy, connections and fancy market gizmos they have on their desks, have a distinct advantage over us turnip farmers.

The best form of help and wisdom, I have received is to first;
not get overly greedy,
then get all your investment money out as soon as possible,
then only try to catch the highs using a 60% average method. Don't look to sell at the top most part of the run and don't look to catch the absolute botton part of the swing when the traders and profit takers move in.
That's the really hard choice because of the unknowns AND the battle with our own emotions.

Past that - GO SAGE GO.

All the best,
