Historical data doesn't really hold much weight as i understand, so in order to get something closer to a 43101, they will go through the same protocall as on virgin land. Grab, channel, then drill, then drill more and more untill they know exactly whats there.

Grab and channels don't count for much either, but act to help guide them where to drill, also from what i understand, i am by no means an exploration expert.

I think the fact they are drilling before they get channel samples back is sweet, if the channel samps didn't look stellar i don't think they would waste the precious drill time on a crap shoot, they've got lots in the hopper they want to drill and you would think if the samps were so so they would have moved the rig to 1 of probly 30 places they for sure want to drill.

The channel stuff from SE jacobus can't sit in the lab forever. As far as firm prophecy, we know what can happen there. But if i was to fathom a guess, i 'd be surprised if it was more than 2 weeks before the NR.
